Addendum

I almost forgot Real Time With Bill Maher (thanks Moto.) What can I say other than Bill Maher rules. Personally, I think the best part of the show is his "New Rules" segment at the end. He never fails to hit the mark.

How about this for a candidacy? Jon Stewart/Bill Maher. Works for me.

The New Rules rules! Jon and I keep laughing about that Carl's Jr. hamburger commercial spoof from a couple weeks ago, too.

Stewart/Maher sounds like a great ticket to me! Al Franken with either one, maybe, too? Or Franken could be Chief of Staff or something. Some post where he could tell us the truth of what's going on.

I love it at the end of New Rules when he really bears down and goes into full rant mode. He makes you laugh but also makes you think.

I agree, J. Bill Maher's ending rant is when the show is at its best. I almost fell over about the one he did on Boeing's CEO that resigned over adultery.

Bill's quote: "You know, in other countries, a CEO committing adultery isn't even called a scandal. It's called a "business trip." Why are there so many puritans in this country, and why can't the rest of us make them go away?!"

Motomama, Ok, how's this: Jon Stewart/Bill Maher for Pres/Vice Pres. Al Frankin for Secretary of Defense, Tim Robbins for Sec of State, & Janeane Garofalo for White House Press Secretary. Can you imagine having a press secretary that told the truth?

What a cabinet that would be! After watching Bill Maher last Friday night, I'd also add Whoopi Goldberg for HUD Secretary and Dr. Cornel West for Secretary of Education. Even Alec Baldwin could have a job. In spite of having that born-again brother and just being a Baldwin - he seems to have his shit together when he talks politics.

Sounds good to me. And, we can't forget Barbra Boxer. She deserves to be part of this. I'm sure we could go on & on...
