"the hunter will sin for your ivory skin" (Bono)

U2 - Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses

After importing my CD collection into iTunes, I've been going back to some of the stuff I used to listen to in the 70's & 80's.

When this song came out in '91, I didn't pay much attention to it, but it's been getting to me lately. It's strange how some things can make their way back into your life.

Anyway, I thought it was time to cleanse the pallet from politics for a moment. I'm sure I'll be right back at it in no time.

I know what you mean...Politics is getting totlly revolting lately. It's down right sick.

I couldn't even get through my tivo'd Daily Shows and Colbert Reports last night...Not that they weren't funny but they're funny in a way that really makes me cry at times. We are living in a tragic comedy right now.

I like the Who's going to ride your wild horses song on Actung Baby

It's one of those things for me where it reminds me of the unrequited love I held for girl's past.

Who's gonna ride your wild horses
Who's gonna drown in your blue sea
Who's gonna taste your salt water kisses
Who's gonna take the place of me

It's cool how having ITunes helps you rediscover songs you'd forgotten about.

Do I detect some hidden meaning here? If you were mine I sure would hope so, or at least, that you'd come over and give me a great lap dance ;)

Yea, I needed a break from politics. It's all gotten to be too frustrating lately. It's like banging your head against a wall.

I'm not sure where that was filmed, Damien. Could be Berlin.

Polishifter, Yes, we are living in tragic times. It's important to find the little things that can save your sanity. Glad you like the song, too. Is it about unrequited love, an affair, or being infatuated with a troubled woman that's out of reach? Any of the above is my guess.

J, I know you've done the same with your CD collection. Isn't iTunes wonderful? Most definitely.

Anonymous, Hidden meaning? Ummm...no comment.
