The Halliburton Candidate

I watched the remake of The Manchurian Candidate last night. It was excellent. I was a big fan of the original, and the inventive way they rewrote the story was clever, topical, and disturbing.

I know this film got good reviews and did well at the box office, but I'm surprised that parallels weren't drawn between the film and reality. If you haven't seen it yet, you are in for a treat.

I had a friend (online, did not use real name)started up a blog (at blogspot) called 'The Manchurian'(themanchurian.blogspot) after the prez elections. Basically with the notion of infiltrating conservative sites, and ever so gently 'turning' them. A 'but' here, a 'George got it wrong there'.

Luckily he didn't use it, which is good, thats a dark blogging road not worth visiting. And no Dave and Damien don't use the same computer.

I forgot to talk about Haliburton. Dick really does need to come clean on his links and dealings, Thats public money and the tendering process is there for a reason. Perp walk him, send him to lock down.
