Published.

I have a made a tough decision. I have decided to put college on the back burner and try to go pro with my photography and film making.

Thanks to my friend, Brian's, faith in me, one of my photos is about to be published in the City Pages, a Mpls newspaper. They are doing a blurb on his band, The Hard Left, and my photo will accompany the feature. (Dec. 26th edition)

I am taking my photography seriously. It may have taken 42 years, but I've finally found my niche. I hope I am supported by all in my decision. This feels right and sometimes you just gotta go with your gut.

Here's the photo:

Let me know if I can help.
Heck let me know if you can help me, I've been at it for decades - if were about talent most of the folks that were wealthy at it wouldn't be.
Drop me a line outside the blog lizzy.

I think it's wonderful that you are following a dream you are clearly so passionate about. All the luck in the world to you.

Excellent, Lizzy - truly fine!
I admire you for doing this - so many people stumble through life like it's only dress rehearsal.
You'll still blog, right? I hope?

Wow, thanks everyone! I really appreciate the feedback. It helps solidify my decision.

Not giving up the blog, Candace, but I am slowing down quite a bit. I'm still waiting on the Dem backbone to emerge, and it just ain't happening. It sickens me.

1138, How do I reach you outside the blog? You don't list your email on your pages.

We did some email exchanges back in early Feb 2006 I thought you might still have it.
I just sent you an email to the address you were using back then.

I've been moving away from photojournalism and towards commercial and PAYING work, art you can do anytime - journalism seems to have become the new prostitution, there are no outlets for honest journalists anymore, not paying outlets.
