Happy, happy, joy, joy!

42 was the first year that I sort of felt beyond the trauma of turning 40. ;-)

Yeah, I know what you mean. That happened to me last year...and, coincidently that's when my middle-age crisis began.

2 years ago, when I turned 40, all of a sudden I couldn't see up close as well I used to. How does your body know that?!

Relax, in just mere moments you'll be staring 50 right in the face like myself and others (right Snave?).

40,42, they just seem like 25ish now.

Happy Bday Lizzy! I wouldn't worry about middle age just yet, hell I started getting crappy eyesight in 5th grade and I got bifocals, at 28. With age comes wisdom, at least thats what I keep telling myself! Cheers.

Happy birthday, Lizzy. I know what you mean about the eyesight, I can't tell you how many times I've been frustrated reading menus because I've forgotten my glasses.

On the other hand, the older I get the less the little things bug me.

Even though we already spoke on the phone, I'm wishing you another Happy Birthday! Love you lots. Hard to believe we've known each other since junior high and now we're both on the other side of 40. How did that happen?

Happy happy, L.!!

I had to start wearing glasses for reading when I turned 39, and by the time I turned 40 they were a a full time thing... And yeah, 1138, I'll be 50 on June 29! Yoiks.
