Hell yeah, getting good grades is such an affirmation. I went back to school when I was 30 to finish up a 2nd BA and I loved it, I actually learned a lot and I busted all A's, rather unlike my previous degree when I was in my early 20's and more concerned about partying and recreational drug use! Now if I could just follow your lead and lose over 20 lbs.!

Looking great Lizzy,

98% what the, okay I bearly got 70s when i did my degree (to much freedom and a suddenly found love for cheap beer).

Elvez, I know what you mean. I barely graduated high school due to recreational drug use, skipping classes, and not caring. But, now that I'm in my 40's, I do care, and I'm there to learn. It makes all the difference in the world.

Damien, I was quite shocked about the 98% on my test. I knew I did well, but not that well!

Thanks, everyone, including anonymous. Who are you? Sister Laura?

Wasn't me. I can spell correctly.
However, great job on school and weight loss!

I've only ever had one rule on my grades.
Pass
That said I hit the far high end far more often than the middle or the low - but I've never beat myself up for simply passing - passing is the point, not aceing.
Passing keeps me for wasting money, passing by more doesn't get me money back.

Big points for the weight though!
Provided you wanted to lose it and the cause wasn't something hurtful, I mean I wouldn't want to find out you lost it through illness.

Congratulations all around! Cute photo of cute you with cute Wellstone!

24 pounds... in two months! Whoa! That takes LOTS of work!

I'm on Nutrisystem trying to take off some pounds from 190 to maybe 180 prior to my back surgery. I've taken off four pounds in the first six days, and I have 18 days to go. In other times when I've concentrated on losing weight I have typically taken off 5-6 pounds in the first ten days, then a pound or two per week after that. My ideal weight should be in the 175 to 180 range, but I do think I can get to 180 or 181 by surgery day. Without being able to exercise, it's a bit more difficult, but I remembered a dieting truth: one must become a peeing machine. Happy peeing!!

Thanks 1138 & Snave. No, I haven't been ill, I'm just very determined to lose the excess fat I've been carrying around too long.

Wanna know the big secret to weight loss? No nighttime eating. Eat a big breakfast, a smaller lunch, and a very small dinner. Eat nothing after 8PM, and the weight falls off. Seriously, that's it.

And yes, Snave, there is a lot of peeing involved. : )

Ahhhh, yes! No great, delicious foods in the evenings! No more potato chips, leftover pizza, ice cream... mmmmmm, ice cream!!

It is hell. I'm firmly down 6 lbs. now, so it's working anyway... but it IS driving me nuts.
