Earlier post removed
After rereading the post I published earlier today, I decided to take it down. It didn't feel right. I will share my feelings about the Israel/Lebanon conflict at a later date.
In the meantime, this cartoon is more like it:

If the Terrorists in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, etc. lay down their weapons, there will be peace! If they do the same in Israel there will be another Holocost.
why don't you show some intellectual muscle and call in on Wide Awakes Radio and make your points there instead of preaching to the choir...or are you not up to it?
I see Ric has visited your blog as well. Hi, Ric! I responded in what I thought was a polite and considered manner on my weblog, at the end of my post about the man behind the curtain. I don't think you or I preach, or that our weblogs are big enough to attract choirs, but I don't mind that.
I know what you mean about the Middle East situation. I'm not sure what to think about it, so until I've had time to digest it I probably won't post very many opinions on it other than to say I don't like the way Bush has approached that region during the last five years, and that through his administration's efforts (or its lack of efforts) the area has been ignited in ways it might not otherwise have been.
Honestly Lizzy you should just hammer into it, I'm trying not to take any real angle on it at the moment. It's really getting worse, I would have thought the IDF would have clearer goals though.
I had a great childhood, however when I was around 14, I started losing my way. I got my life back at 29 and now have 17 years of semi-sobriety. Many years ago, I was diagnosed with OCD after a lifetime of odd behavior. Politically, I consider myself a far/hard left liberal who will fight against the right wing to my dying day.
This blog endorses Barack Obama for re-election in 2012.

How many blogs did you cut & paste your ad in, ric?
BTW, I am not preaching to the choir. This is a "shades of grey" issue.

The cartoon is great!
I'm with ya, Snave.
