Minneapolis wins! : (

Minneapolis got the honorary distinction of having the "worst weather in America" this morning on MSNBC.

Check out today's forecast:

Fair -12°F
Wind: NW
16 mph
Wind Chill:
-35°F

I don't think I will be leaving the house this weekend, unless I start going mad from cabin fever. I'll have to leave the house on Monday for school, when the high temp will be a balmy -2.

This freakin' sucks, man.

Damn, I feel like a wimp.

Here in CA if it gets below 55 degrees I think it's freezing..

I can't imagine -12 freakin fahrenheit!!

Yikes, they are calling for a low of 10 here in Richmond on Monday and that would be the coldest temp here in a decade, that sounds like a balmy day in the Great White North. On the flip side though you guys have great summers up there, down here it is 90 plus and 90% humidity from June til Sept.

Yes, this is not good. I love Minnesota, but February is never pleasant.

I did make it out to Super Target today. Thermal underwear is a lifesaver.

I remember when I first moved from Texas to Minneapolis, oh so many years ago... It was November and we had a cold snap. The weatherman said something like, "...it's 40 below with the wind chill. So, ya know, don't go out if you don't have to." And I thought to myself, God's teeth! What have I done?!

Of course, when summer came I thought I'd moved to paradise. Long days and temperatures that never went above 90, usually not far into the 80s. Heaven.

Yep, on the news they're telling us not to go outside if you don't have to. It's so cold, your eyeballs freeze.

Summers are beautiful, but like everywhere else, they are getting warmer. Hummm, I wonder why that is?...
