Waiting to exhale

On advice of counsel, my (favorite) Uncle Richard, I took down my most scathing blog post to date.

Let's just hope that the anger we are all feeling toward Bush & Co starts to move our country in the right direction. My sense is that we are finally getting there. Damien said that even FOX News is coming around.

Patience, my friends, patience.

Patience, yes... but when I see on your sidebar that we still have 1,228 days left of this joker and his friends camping out at the White House, my skin tends to get crawly. When he's gone, we will have endured EIGHT YEARS of it... and we had better be getting busy with some kind of strategy for 08 so we don't end up with more neocons running the show (and running it further into the ground).

I think we are past patience. It's time for action. On Sept. 24 a large rally is planned for D.C. I understand it is a combination Peace March and Impeach Bush rally. It's time for the REAL majority to speak up and act out.

Reminds me of the old poster of the two vultures in the tree: "Patience, my ass. I want to kill something."

You guys are right. Patience hasn't worked for us in the past, and it won't work for us now. It IS time for action.

Keep urging elected democrat officials to speak out...strongly, about the things they believe in.
They are too afraid of alienating their base...
Now is the time to strike and strike hard against the ever tightening tentacles of corporate and right wing power before it's too late.
Replublicans even use and empower the Christian Right to strengthen their own totalianarism... if we delay we shall become an afterthought of history!.
