Anger, sadness, and shame

I agree with my blog buddy, Snave, when he says we should take a few days to reflect and then get back to fighting the good fight .

I was going to post a laundry list of "wishes" for the Bush voters, but I'm going to wait on that. The anger and sadness I am feeling is so profound that it might come off sounding like I want to do them harm. I'll take a day or so to see if this knot in my gut loosens up, then decide if I should post it or not.

I will say this, I have never been so ashamed to be an American.

Again as I posted to Snave, The ideal situation would have seen me pack up tent and move to other online joys. Well thats not what happened. If anything this online media will become a frontline forum, my weapon of choice. Keep the faith Lizzy, we need folk like you!

Yes, I agree. We need time to sort out feelings. I guess I knew it was truly over when I received the thank you email from Kerry. Fuck.

I am scared of the future right now. But maybe that will make me more motivated to change it.

I hope that the movement built by the left in the upcoming years will once again make you proud. I also woke up wondering what country I was in, but I believe we can get together and change the direction of this country.
