Well, here we are the night before - the night before. I feel I've done my best to persuade those around me to make a change in the White House. I've hung signs, bumper stickered and put information flyers on cars. Maybe I could've done more, but I'm only human.
These last couple days are going to be very hard. I can already feel the tension building. Every time I see Dubya on TV, I want to punch his face in...same goes for the men in the ridiculous new Swift Boat ads. Which, by the way, I think will bring a backlash.
I'm trying not to think about Tuesday, but it's tough. To deal with the stress, I've been taking my dogs on long walks everyday. Also, I'm trying not to watch too much news or surf too long on the internet. Speaking of the internet, when this whole thing is over, my comments on everyone's posts will be better - I promise!
How is everyone else dealing with these last 2 days?

It has been extremely difficult. I find that I have generally been depressed, and I can't wait for the election to be over. I can't stand the uncertainty! It interferes with my daily life in a number of ways.
I have also stayed away from the news... like you suggested, the sight and sound of Bush smirking and spouting the same three of four phrases over and over makes my blood boil, especially when people cheer wildly for him. I take comfort in knowing the majority of the American voters didn't vote for him in 2000, and that they likely will not this time around!
Our group of politicos are going to play golf. No radios allowed, no text messaging etc. There is way to much tension. I still can't beleive that the Bushies are still drinking the 'coolade' with such Jim Jones vigour. If those voting ques are long and young it can only bode well for the Dems. Again we are really, really, really feeling the tension [God I can't even get a DVD on election night as our local vid store has just closed].
Oh wait, wait...
I've have ample supplies of fireworks [legal and stuff that would make WMD inspectors cringe]and other assorted amounts of Chinease sky candy ready to celebrate a Kerry victory. You'll hear it in Minnasota.
You can lean on me, Lizzy. We are going to kick ass tomorrow. There is nothing to be tense about because Truth has fought it's way back through all the layers of Bushian Bullshit. The Republicans will freak when they see wave after wave of Democrats standing in line to put our country back on track. I listened to Limbaugh, Snow and Hannity today and it was obvious they were all nervous. They are about to come to the awful realization that all their propaganda and lies couldn't stop the will of the American people (or at least the ones who had any kind of sense). Tomorrow is gonna be a GREAT day in America!

Thanks, guys. You always make me feel better. : )
I got so worked up I accidentally repeated myself. Just another sign of old age I guess.
