W is for Wrong

Last Monday, in my blog, I wrote about undecided voters liking the attention they get by saying they are undecided, and the same thing was mentioned by the guests on Real Time with Bill Maher. I must be on to something.

Well, it's official. Kerry had to dumb it down for the slack-jawed locals...oops, I mean, general public. He's had to exchange well thought-out intelligent speeches in for punchy easy to understand quips like "W is for Wrong." What has happened to this country?!! I'm not saying he's doing the wrong thing, because he isn't. I just think it's so sad that he has to.

When J and I were watching Bill Maher Friday night, I looked at him and said "Lizzy said this already in her blog..."

It is so sad what's going on in this country. Kids and adults alike don't read anymore. I think public education is from where it stems. J. sees it every day. People only want short bursts of simple information these days - they can't handle anything more.

I also think part of the problem is the way politicians attempt to sell themselves to different demographic groups these days. I think the Dems are especially bad at this...you try not to offend anybody and eventually nobody respects you. They need to remember you only need 51% of the vote (or the right combination of electoral votes).
