I had a great childhood, however when I was around 14, I started losing my way. I got my life back at 29 and now have 14 years of semi-sobriety. Many years ago, I was diagnosed with OCD after a lifetime of odd behavior. Politically, I consider myself a far/hard left liberal who will fight against the right wing to my dying day. And, now as we enter the election season of 2008, I am making it my mission to elect strong progressives. It's time to clean house & get rid of spineless Democrats like Reid & Pelosi. This blog endorses Barack Obama as the next President of the USA.

I for one am glad to see this guy gone. All he did was help the President and not the country, that was his job.
Calling Abu Gonzales a douchebag is an insult to douchebags everywhere.
Who Hijacked Our Country
It didn't happen soon enough, but at least the guy will be gone in a month or so... as long as there isn't a state of national emergency declared due to a "catastrophe", in which case Abu would be around for a long time. I'm very concerned about the next few weeks. Politicians telling other politicians not to come back to Washington D.C. from their vacation until about a month from now... I have a sneaking suspicion that something major is up.
This guy will go down as possibly the most unqualified person to ever hold the post. W's habit of valuing loyalty above all else is no way to run a government.
True Elvez, but I sincerely doubt, whether the next president be a jackass or a dead elephant (sorry, couldn't come up with a better pejorative for elephants), that we'll see much different during the next administration. Hopelessness springs eternal.

On a serious note, like Snave and others are saying, something is about to go down. I can feel it. TPTB can't have all of these Repubs imploding all over the place. They are cooking up the next distraction right now. Hummm, but what could it be? Attacking Iran? Another 9/11? Stock market crash? The possibilities are endless.
Too bad most of us are on to them.
