It's a brand new day, everyone. Finally.
...Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside
And it is ragin'.
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.

It's a good thing. I think it sends a signal regarding the shakeup coming in November.
It sure does.
The momentum is shifting, and the pendulum is swinging back to the left. It is way past time.
I am glad the war in Iraq has become a political albatross for the Bush administration. I believe that Bush would have invaded Iraq whether the terrorist attacks in NYC had happened or not... but that the terror attacks made it easier for him and his friends to keep the public in a stupor and to keep our military in Iraq longer before people would start getting pissed. It was enough to keep us there for close to three and a half years before substantial events such as Joe Lieberman's defeat would start to happen. I think it's like a snowball starting to roll downhill! I'm very excited about the possibility of some real butt-kicking from the left this fall. It is way past time the left kicked some butt, eh?
It is our time now.
