- I had a great childhood, however when I was around 14, I started losing my way. I got my life back at 29 and now have 17 years of semi-sobriety. Many years ago, I was diagnosed with OCD after a lifetime of odd behavior. Politically, I consider myself a far/hard left liberal who will fight against the right wing to my dying day. Sorry to hear your doggie needs surgery. My dad has been having problems with his feet, so I know the frustration involved.
If all goes well, I have decided to go to NY to escape Texas. That's sort of my alternative to xanax. Of course, if Dad needs surgery on his toes, it may all have to be set aside, but I definitely would like to get away from here for a while. Remind myself that I am still alive and reasonably young.
