People are starting to say now *finally* that Obama has won. There is no way realistically Hillary can catch him. She'd need to win 60% of the remaining contests and convince more super delegates to flock to her.
To catch up in popular vote she'd need a redo and/or counting of Michigan and Florida AND win 60% of the remaining contests.
I think Richardson's endorsement cracked the door and in the coming weeks we will see more super delegates move to Obama.
The fact that Edwards has yet to endorse a candidate I think is telling.
The Clintons thought they had locked Richardson up but he went for Obama. I think Edwards was leaning toward Hillary but maybe now he will change his mind.
The longer Clinton stays in the race and keeps trying to sandbag Obama, the stronger McCain gets. Clinton should know better. Every day she stays in things get worse for the Democrats.
I sure hope some more high-profile Dems will step forward to endorse Obama. Having Richardson on board is wonderful!
Yeah, where IS Gore? Here's what I think - he thinks it would be unseemly to endorse a Clinton rival, since after all, he was their veep; OTOH, he can't quite bring himself to endorse Hillary, either. So, he remains silent. If this is true, then I would say two things:
1. What a gentleman. 2. Go ahead and endorse Obama! You know you wanna! (hey, that rhymes.)
I had a great childhood, however when I was around 14, I started losing my way. I got my life back at 29 and now have 15 years of semi-sobriety. Many years ago, I was diagnosed with OCD after a lifetime of odd behavior. Politically, I consider myself a far/hard left liberal who will fight against the right wing to my dying day.
And, now as we enter the election season of 2008, I am making it my mission to elect strong progressives. It's time to clean house & get rid of spineless Democrats like Reid & Pelosi.
This blog endorses Barack Obama as the next President of the USA.

Good news and long over due.
I'm looking for a written copy of the endorsement.
Christ how long are they going to drag this out? Somebody *cough*Hillary*cough* should step aside so they can start pounding McCain already.

Be nice to see Al Gore endorse Obama.
I agree. I think it's only a matter of time before we see more key endorsements. Gore is the biggie.
Hillary must step aside now. She simply cannot win, and the longer she stays in, the worse it is for our party.
